Instructions and Help about Medicare reimbursement form

Hi, my name is Laurie Jeffers and I would like to talk to you today about Medicare reimbursement for advanced practice nurses. I'm currently a student in the doctoral program at Duke University's School of Nursing. I graduated from Duke in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree. I've been a nurse for over 30 years in a variety of settings, the last 15 of which have been spent as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. For the last 11 years, I've had my own practice called Well Woman Care, where I focus on the preventive needs of women across a variety of ages and stages of life. Every day, we put thousands of patients safely under anesthesia, and every day we treat and manage thousands of patients with chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and a variety of other conditions through our practice in primary care settings. Every day, hundreds of infants are safely delivered by certified nurse midwives, while clinical nurse specialists play an important...
